Starr & Angel

Starr, a hope-filled teen with big dreams, leaves behind a toxic home life to move in with her older sister, Angel, a down-on-her-luck stripper, bruised by an unjustly painful life and living in a motel. Together, they attempt to survive in fraught circumstances and rebuild the broken bond they once shared. Following an incident with Cash, the man she’s indebted to, Angel comes up with a risky plan to make money fast by luring older men online using her little sister as bait, then blackmailing and extorting them for cold hard cash, all in hopes of funding their lifestyle and pursuing Starr’s Hollywood dreams in LA.

Joel plays one of the blackmailed men, a truck driver who gets drawn in by Starr and Angel as they advance their plan.
