Mother's Day

Set against the backdrop of stylized, home-movie style clips, “Mother’s Day” examines the insecurities and fears of a mother who’s struggling to understand her place in the world as her daughter reacts to the choices she’s made for her.

Commissioned by author Bill Mcstowe, this was Joel’s first commissioned film.
