Blue

In the not-too-distant, dystopian future, the state controls all. During the now-extreme winters, citizens are mandated to shelter until Spring, not permitted to leave their homes for any reason, their only supplies coming from state actors known as, “Caretakers.” But, as the winter wears on, one man’s sanity begins to crumble and a long-hidden inner darkness emerges. 

Joel plays, “The Man,” the film’s central figure. As the film progresses, The Man’s shaky resolve to outlast the winter deteriorates, leaving him with only madness, despair, and the beckoning void. 

Blue began filming in February 2024.
